How Do Enforcement Camera (EDS) and Speed Camera Alerts Work?

Electronic Enforcement System (EDS) is the general name in Türkiye for systems that check compliance with traffic rules electronically. NavGo can give drivers location-based information about the supported EDS and speed camera points in its database.

How Are EDS Alerts Shown?

NavGo considers your location and driving direction to identify the supported checkpoints you are approaching. When you approach one, an on-screen alert and, depending on your settings, a voice notification may be shown.

Does NavGo Show All EDS Points?

No. The coverage of EDS systems, how up to date the data is and the supported types of checks may vary from region to region. Since not every electronic enforcement system is used to measure speed, only supported alert types may appear in the app.

Are EDS Alerts Exact?

No. Newly installed, moved or updated checkpoints may not yet be reflected in the app's data.

Important: NavGo is designed not to help drivers avoid enforcement, but to help them stay aware of speed limits and traffic rules.
